Own or Lease Your Ocean Rowing Boat

At The Ocean Rowing Company, we don’t just build boats — we help build expeditions, dreams and legacies. Whether you’re planning to cross the Atlantic, take on a personal challenge, or inspire others with a cause, we’re here to guide you through the process — from first idea to final oar stroke.

Every journey begins with a conversation

Step One: Let’s Talk

Once you reach out to us, we won’t just send a brochure. We’ll schedule a personal call or invite you to our workshop in the Netherlands. This is where your adventure starts.

You’ll sit down with Mark, our founder and ocean rowing expert. Whether you’re preparing for the World’s Toughest Row, a solo endurance record, or a personal challenge like the MacLean brothers, Mark will help you clarify your goals and your needs.

He’ll ask:

  • What’s your mission?

  • Who is your crew?

  • How much support do you need before, during and after the crossing?

  • What’s your timeline, and what’s your budget?

We’ll then advise you — honestly — whether buying or leasing makes more sense for you, and which model suits your mission best: D12, D23 or D34.
